Key Responsibilities

  • Pass accounting entries for company's sales and fund receipts in accounting software such as Odoo and Tally or similar ERP systems
  • Maintain proper classification of transactions as per accounting heads
  • Assist in preparation of journal entries and basic adjustments
  • Generate customer invoices and record receipts
  • Assist in tracking receivables thoroughly
  • Perform bank reconciliations on a periodic basis
  • Assist in reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Identify and report discrepancies for resolution
  • Maintain organized records of invoices and supporting documents
  • Ensure proper filing and saving (physical and digital) for audit and compliance purposes
  • Assist in preparation of data as per Indian taxation and other statutory requirements
  • Ensure transactions comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
  • Provide required documents and data during internal and external audits
  • Assist in responding to basic audit queries

Required Skill

  •  Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
  •  Good understanding of GST and Indian taxation processes.
  • Knowledge of Tally software and Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage records and documentation efficiently.
  • Time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.

Reporting To

  •  Accounts Manager

Scope Clarification (Important)

  • The role is operational and support-oriented
  • Does not include finalization of accounts or independent handling of statutory filings
  • Works under supervision for compliance-related activities

Full-Time Maritime Training Faculty

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality technical training programs (online/classroom/simulator-based) for maritime professionals.
  • Conduct courses on engine room systems, dual-fuel engines, navigation & cargo handling, electrical safety, practical case studies and related maritime subjects.
  • Lead practical training exercises, simulator sessions & case study discussions.
  • Develop & update training material in line with STCW, IMO & emerging engineering /operational practices.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship & career support to maritime trainees.
  • Collaborate with the academic team for course scheduling, documentation and certification.

Qualifications:

  • Chief Engineer COC (Class 1) or Master Mariner (Master COC) with relevant tanker sailing experience (oil/chemical/gas) preferred.
  • Prior experience in maritime training or mentoring is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with SIRE, RightShip inspections or equivalent will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & a few AI tools.
  • Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong technical presentation, public speaking & training delivery skills.
  • Experience in maritime training or curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with online learning tools & hybrid teaching environments.
