Role of EDS

EDS aims to support organizations in addressing issues related to sexual discrimination and harassment in workplaces by:

  • Helping organizations formulate and adopt suitable policies.
  • Guiding and assisting in formulation of Internal Complaint Committee (ICC).
  • Sensitizing and creating awareness in the organization about sexual harassment policy.
  • Circulating relevant information at regular intervals through HR admin department of client’s office.
  • Nominating one of EDS members as an external member in ICC for attending periodical meetings (once in a quarter).
  • Advising on suitable guidance/training programmes as appropriate from time to time.
