Prathamesh Dange
Mr. Prathamesh Dange, class 1 marine engineer Graduated from tolani maritime institute in 2009,has more than11 years experience working on oil & chemical tankers, bulk carriers and onboard offshore supply vessels.
his expertise includes:
- planning and execution of planned and unplanned maintenance of ship machinery- including propulsion and power generation engines, boilers, hvac systems, cranes and winches, cargo pumps etc
- management and upkeep of stores/spare part inventory
- upkeep of hazardous material inventory
- performing various drydocking jobs -involved in delivery of new vessels from ship yards as part of yard delivery crew
His shore experience includes class room & onboard training, performing quality and maritime institute audits, technical consultancy for vessels with electronic engines.
At ISF, he has been instrumental in developing advance training programs on electronics, electrical, automation & controls, electronically controlled engines and has trained over 200 seafaring engineers uptil now.
he was instrumental in revamping the distance learning programmes (DLP) training program for Junior engineers and solely responsible for developing the training program for Eto's. He also provided valuable inputs for developing the E-version of DLP Training.
He has also designed a technical workshop which included tanker piping layout with deepwell and regular centrifugal pump arrangement at nusi offshore technical institute (NOTI), panvel - an NUSI-itf trust institute for various company sponsored technical training for engineer officers and crew. He is also an external faculty at NOTI for Pumpman and Hydraulically operated submerged pump trainings.
He provided valuable support by making onboard visits and data collation for development of planned maintenance software for tipco maritime - a thai national company.
