OVERVIEW:

Marine Environment Protection Training course is designed to help the seafarers to be updated with the latest regulatory demands. It lays emphasis on the correct methods to meet the requirements and prevent abuse of the environment.

TRAINING OBJECTIVE:

1.   Have a basic understanding about Global Legislation and regulations with respect to Pollution.

2.   Be familiarized with the main MARPOL regulations in Annex I, concerning Prevention of Pollution by Oil.

3.   ​Be familiarized with the main MARPOL regulations in Annex II, concerning Prevention of Pollution by Noxious liquid substances in bulk

4.   Be familiarized with the main MARPOL regulations in Annex III, concerning Prevention of Pollution by Harmful Substances Carried by Sea in Packaged Form.

5.   Be familiarized with the main MARPOL regulations in Annex IV, concerning Prevention of Pollution by Sewage, from Ships.

6.   Be familiarized with the main MARPOL regulations in Annex IV, concerning Prevention of Pollution by Sewage, from Ships.

7.   Be familiarized with the main MARPOL regulations in Annex VI, concerning Prevention of Air Pollution, from Ships.
