OVERVIEW:

The Drug Abuse training course covers basic knowledge and information on company policies with regard to the use and abuse of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco in the maritime sector. This course also covers the preventive measures to be taken for the abuse of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco to protect the health and safety of people on board. 

TRAINING OBJECTIVES:

1. To increase understanding of the basics of addiction.

2. To empower people to make informed choices in their own lives

3. To adopt science-based policies and programs that reduce drug abuse and addiction in their communities.

4.  To contribute to the reduction of health and safety problems related to the use of drugs and alcohol in the maritime industry through the promotion of awareness and education.
